Back To The Grindstone

Summer is basically over for us. Robert has his first day back to prepare for his students today. He woke us up for family prayer at 6:30. It is really hard to open your eyes at that time of day. We are trying to correct the family's sleeping patterns so we will be ready for school next week. Last night the kids were all in bed with the lights out at 9:30pm! Quite a feat! During the summer they haven't been going to bed until 10:30 or later. Emma, our night owl, sometimes didn't go to sleep until 12 or 1 am! Oh the shame! As for Robert and I, we were in bed with the lights out at 12:30. Hopefully we will move that up an hour or so. Before Sophie was born, we could barely make it to 11:00pm. Today I am going to go through all the kids clothes and see what is acceptable for school and what we need to buy. I don't buy a whole lot at this time of year. It stays so warm and the kids can usually wear shorts/capris and short sleeves until October. Happy week before school starts to all of you. And for those of you that don't start until after Labor Day, enjoy it while you can!:)
