We had an olympics themed party last week, to celebrate Gehrig's birthday the week before that! When all the Olympians got to the "olympic village" they had to make flags to represent their own country. There were atheletes from Gegerland and Missyville...

Kaboom, Grantaly and Jinese...

I Have No Clue, Natalie the Profect, The United States of Quinton and Burgonzo Boy or Garbanzo Bean (Gable switched back and forth alot).

After the flag ceremony we passed birthday candle torches to Gehrig who had the honor of lighting the Olympic Cauldron.

In Gehrig's Olympics there was a speed basketball competition which was Sophie's favorite. She laughed so hard when the balls started bouncing all around her. It was so cute! In this picture she has spit-up coming out of her mouth but she does not care. Life is too short to worry about things like that!

There was a diving competition. Gehrig took the gold in this event. It was a proud moment for me!

A food relay-saltines, gogurts, potstickers, marshmallows. It came down to me and Quinton there on the end. He beat me because he was faster with the straw on his Capri-sun.

This is Gehrig giving us a pretty good Michael Phelps impersonation during the track and field events.

Sophie even won a medal for hand eating.

Here is an action shot!

Gehrig, it has been a great 11 years! We love you so much! We love to watch how you are growing up and all the things you are doing on your own. We are happy that you are excited about scouts, becoming a deacon and about learning. Having you as a son is a wonderful blessing!
