Off And Runnin'

I went running for the first time since Sophie was born last night. It felt great! Years ago I set a goal to run a 5K sometime in my life and last year was the year. I started training in February 2007 and ran my first race in May 2007. In the process I learned to really love running! That is quite a thing for me to say because I am just not a very athletic person. I was one of the girls in high school who would rather get a "C" in PE than run a mile. As a result, I NEVER ran a mile until I was 34 years old! I've got my eye on a couple 5ks this fall. Wish me luck!
