Monday was a stressful day for Emma as far as homework was concerned. Math was especially difficult for her, to the point where tears were shed. During this time, I noticed that she went off into her room (where her Halloween candy is stashed). When she came back she said, "Mom, chocolate just makes me feel better!" Amen, little woman, amen!
